1. General
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SimpleBoard ("Service"), provided by SimpleBoard (hello@simpleboard.pl). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
SimpleBoard is a project management application in the form of Kanban boards, available at app.simpleboard.pl. The Service enables you to create boards, manage tasks, and collaborate with your team.
3. Registration and Account
Using the Service requires creating an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential. The account owner is responsible for all actions taken using the account.
One user may hold one personal account. Organisation accounts (workspaces) may include multiple users.
4. Free Trial and Payments
4.1 Free Trial
Every new account receives a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. After 30 days you must choose a paid plan or export your data before the workspace is deleted.
4.2 Paid Plans

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and do not include VAT, which may be applied in accordance with applicable regulations. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period. You may cancel at any time in account settings — access to the Service is maintained until the end of the paid period.
4.3 Changes to User Count
Adding a new user mid-billing period is charged on a pro-rata basis for the remainder of the current period.
5. Storage
Each workspace has a default storage limit of 10 GB for files attached to cards (images, documents, other attachments). This limit applies to the total size of all uploaded files within a workspace.
Once the limit is reached, uploading new files is paused until space is freed or the limit is extended. Additional storage is available on request — contact us at hello@simpleboard.pl to discuss options.
The storage limit does not apply to the number of boards, lists, cards, or users — these are unlimited on all paid plans.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload content that is illegal or infringes the intellectual property or personal rights of others,
- send spam or unauthorised marketing messages,
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the system or other users' data,
- take actions that may disrupt the Service or overload the infrastructure,
- store sensitive data such as payment card numbers without appropriate security measures.
7. Intellectual Property
Content created by you within the application remains your property. SimpleBoard makes no claim to any data you enter.
The SimpleBoard software, user interface, brand, and logo are owned by SimpleBoard and are protected by copyright. Copying, modifying, or using them without written permission is prohibited.
8. Service Availability
We aim to maintain Service availability of 99.5% per month. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. SimpleBoard is not liable for outages caused by external factors (infrastructure provider failures, force majeure).
9. Data Export and Deletion
You may download your data in JSON or CSV format at any time from workspace settings. After account closure or subscription expiry, data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". SimpleBoard makes no warranties as to uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleBoard's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the last 3 months.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email with at least 14 days advance notice. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
You may close your account at any time in application settings. SimpleBoard may suspend or delete an account for breach of these Terms, with notice (except for serious violations requiring immediate action).
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts having jurisdiction over SimpleBoard's registered place of business, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
